General Help
1. I received an email invitation to participate in an AlphaSession, but the URL link does not work. [top]
Sometimes URL links to Web pages do not work in all email programs. If the link does not work, please copy
the entire link and paste it into your Internet browser address bar. Alternatively, you can go to the AlphaDetail
website at www.alphadetail.com and login with your secure AlphaDetail username and password.
2. I have forgotten my username or password. [top]
If you've forgotten your AlphaDetail username or password, don't worry. It
takes just one easy step to receive a new temporary password with which to
access your account. Simply click here to go to our "Forgot Password" page.
Enter your AlphaDetail username or the email address you registered with
and we'll send you the information you need to choose a new password and
access your account.
4. Other technical problems [top]
If you experience any other technical problems, please

the type of Internet browser you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Mozilla, etc.) and your
operating system (e.g. Windows OS version, Mac OS version or details of mobile device you trying to access the site on).
5. I would like to register with AlphaDetail but want to know if my data is
secure. [top]
AlphaDetail implements industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
encryption to protect your private information. Our member registration areas
use SSL encryption to protect your personal data as it is transferred between
your computer and our servers.
When you visit our member registration areas, you may see a gray "Security Alert" or "Security Information" pop-up window indicating that you are about to request or view pages over a secure connection. It is safe click "OK" or "Continue" and proceed to the member registration area. Once there, you will see a locked padlock icon at the bottom of your Internet browser window indicating that you have entered an SSL protected section of the AlphaDetail website.
Help for Physicians
1. I am trying to register but receive an error saying
that my DEA number cannot be verified. [top]
Our system verifies the authenticity of each physician by matching the first and
last name of the physician with the partial DEA number provided. The partial
DEA number provides enough information for verification while protecting
sensitive information. Usually, when a physician is rejected it is due to one
of the following reasons:
- The partial DEA number was mistyped. Please check that you have correctly entered the last 5 digits of the DEA number
- The first and/or last name was mistyped, or a nickname was used (e.g. middle name as first name, or abbreviated first name)
- The DEA database has a different spelling of the physician's name from the spelling provided by the physician
- The DEA number was recently issued and is not in our verification database yet. Our database is updated monthly
- The Registrant is a Resident, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant. Currently, we only accept registrations from licensed US physicians. However, based on the feedback from our customers, we are exploring the opportunity to include other groups that play an important role in healthcare delivery. 2. I received an invitation to participate in an AlphaSession. Why was I selected to participate? [top]
AlphaDetail invites healthcare professionals with relevant clinical experience to participate in interactive
online sessions during which you learn about clinical developments, pharmaceutical therapies and/or respond to
market research questions.
3. I entered the last 5 digits of my DEA number but now
I have been asked for my entire DEA number. Why did this happen?

Although the last 5 digits of a physician’s DEA number is a unique
identifier in 99.5% of cases, you fall into the rare case where you share the
last 5 digits of your DEA number with another physician with the same last name.
In order to validate your individual registration, we will need the entry of
your entire DEA number. However, please remember that our registration site
uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal data.
Help for Patients
Our system verifies the authenticity of each patient by matching the first and last name of the patient with the Invitation Code provided. Usually, when a patient is rejected it is due to one of the following reasons:
- The Invitation Code was mistyped
- The first and/or last name was mistyped, or a nickname was used (e.g. middle name as first name, or abbreviated first name)
- Our database has a different spelling of the patient's name from the spelling provided by the patient
