Absolutely not. Not only is the service free for participants, but you will also receive an honorarium or medically relevant gift for your time and feedback.
2. How long is the registration process? [top]
Registration entails providing us with basic contact and background information and takes less than a minute
3. How long does it take to complete an AlphaSession? [top]
Most AlphaSessions take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Market Research surveys are sometimes longer in duration, which is clearly indicated in your email invitation and on our website. The cash honorarium we offer for Market Research is increased for longer surveys.
4. When will I receive the medically relevant gift or cash honorarium? [top]
You will receive your medically relevant gift or cash honorarium 2 to 4 weeks after completing an AlphaSession.
5. How long will an AlphaSession be available after I am notified? [top]
Each AlphaSession has an expiration date and/or a maximum number of completed sessions. The expiration information will be clearly displayed in each invitation. The AlphaSession will no longer be available after the expiration date or after the maximum number of completed sessions has been reached.

Each time there is a new AlphaSession, we will inform you by email about the nature of the AlphaSession, the expected duration, the expiration date, and the corresponding gift or honorarium.
7. Is my data secure? [top]

encryption to protect your private information. Our member registration areas
use SSL encryption to protect your personal data as it is transferred between
your computer and our servers.

It is safe click "OK" or "Continue" and proceed to the member registration area. Once there, you will see a locked padlock icon at the bottom of your Internet browser window indicating that you have entered an SSL protected section of the AlphaDetail website.
8. Can residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants register with AlphaDetail? [top]
We have received many inquiries from residents, nurse practitioners and physician assistants about our service. Currently, we accept registrations only from licensed US physicians with unique DEA numbers. However, prompted by feedback from our clients and panel members, we are currently refining our system to accept registrations from other groups that play an important role in healthcare delivery. We will be happy to send you an email when we expand our services beyond licensed US physicians; please send us an email at info@alphadetail.com letting us know you would like this update.
Physician FAQs
An AlphaSession is an interactive online session that provides you with clinical and product information and/or obtains your feedback on current and future therapies. An AlphaSession may be an Online Detail, an Online Market Research survey, or an Online Disease State Awareness program.
- Online Details communicate important product and clinical information.
- Online Market Research surveys elicit your expert opinions about your clinical practice.
- Online Disease State Awareness programs provide leading information about advances in disease diagnosis and treatment.
After becoming an AlphaDetail panel member you will be notified by email each time there is an AlphaSession relevant to your practice. For each Online Detail or Disease State Awareness program you complete, you will learn important clinical and product information and receive a medically relevant gift. For each Online Market Research survey you complete, you will provide your expert opinions and receive a cash honorarium. 3. Why does AlphaDetail require partial DEA numbers? [top]
AlphaDetail collects registration information to ensure that only licensed US physicians with unique DEA numbers are invited to and participate in AlphaSessions. We are legally obligated to conduct a rigorous verification since most of the material presented in AlphaSessions is FDA regulated and not appropriate for the general population (i.e., it is physician oriented and does not follow the strict guidelines that direct-to-consumer information must follow). AlphaDetail matches the last 5 digits of the DEA numbers entered on our registration page to a database of valid DEA numbers and names. The partial DEA number provides enough information for verification while protecting sensitive information.
Patient FAQs 1. What is an AlphaSession? [top]
An AlphaSession is an interactive online session that provides you with clinical and product information and/or obtains your feedback on current and future treatments. An AlphaSession may be an Online Market Research survey or an Online Disease State Awareness program.
- Online Market Research surveys elicit your opinions about your medical conditions, including current treatment options, and issues that you face.
- Online Disease State Awareness programs provide leading educational information about advances in disease treatment.
2. What will happen after I join your panel? [top]
After becoming an AlphaDetail panel member you will be notified by email each time there is an AlphaSession relevant to you. For each Disease State Awareness program you complete, you will learn important clinical and product information and receive a medically relevant gift. For each Online Market Research survey you complete, you will provide your expert opinions and receive a cash honorarium.
3. I have more than 3 medical conditions. Why do you limit users to only 3 conditions? [top]
We recognize that some of our users may suffer from more than 3 medical conditions. However, we have chosen to ask our panel members to nominate the 3 primary conditions from which they suffer. This step ensures that you will be invited to AlphaSessions that are highly relevant to you.
4. Why does AlphaDetail require an invitation code? [top]
AlphaDetail invites patients to register with us from pre-screened lists. In order to ensure that only verified patients participate in AlphaSessions, we require patients to enter an invitation code as part of the registration process. Invitation codes are clearly displayed on the invitations we send to patients. If you have not received an invitation you may not register with AlphaDetail.
